Programme
We head out of London by high speed train to the wonderful county of Kent. Upon arrival to the Leeds Castle estate you can either visit the castle or if you fancy staying outdoors, let your guide to take you on a walk around the estate with a stop in a country pub for a lunch.
The castle, surrounded by its own lake and magnificent grounds, certainly ranks high on the list of those not to be missed in southeast England.
The walking tour of the castle will transport you to the era of society and glamour you had previously only read about. (The castle was for centuries a home to royalty, lords and ladies including six mediaeval queens and Lady Baillie, a famous Anglo-American hostess of the early twentieth century)
Lose yourself in the spiraling yew maze, and return to civilisation through a mysterious underworld grotto.
The splendid grounds also hold a fine aviary, falconry display and dog collar museum.
For the lunch there is an option of a restaurant or café in the courtyard. Or you can just simply picnic in the gardens.

The ticket grants free admission to the castle for one year. Why not to come back maybe for the thrilling highflyer balloon ride.
And finally round up your day with an adrenalin forest adventure above the Kentish hilltops. Featuring zip slides up to 100 feet above the forest floor and 250 metres in length, the experience takes approximately 2.5-3 hours. You will be fitted with a climbing harness and given instruction before trekking from tree to tree high above the forest floor.

What to take with you
We advise you to wear clothing that you won't mind getting grubby or even slightly damaged. Dress for the weather. No open-toed or slip-off shoes. Ankle supporting boots are best. Some recommend fingerless gloves. Long hair must be tied back, waists should be covered and body-piercings removed or taped over for comfort.
