Bohemia House, Czech & Slovak restaurant and bar located in Czechoslovak National House in West Hampstead is looking for a new Head Chef. The ideal candidate will possess: - previous experience with managing a small kitchen team - team building skills - knowledge of traditional as well as modern Czech and Slovak cuisines - high level of cooking skills - attention to detail - creativity and proactive approach - to do attitude - high standard of cleanliness and hygiene - knowledge of food safety practices and regulations - costing and desired GP control - confidence in data analysing and recording - knowledge and control of food allergens - Level 2 Food Safety certificate - right to work in the UK - NI number and UK bank account Reporting to the general manager, the applicant will be responsible for day-to-day running of the kitchen including stock control, rota planning and cleaning schedules. 3 months probation can be shortened in the case of a confident and full takeover of the kitchen and all responsibilities.
