Au pair plus

We are looking for a live in au-pair to start work for us on 1 September 2013. We are a family of four - mum, dad and 2 boys (age 7 and 4). Both Mum and Dad work full time, so we need some extra help with the boys and in particular the school run. The hours of work are as follows: 7.45am to 9.30am and then from 3pm to around 6.30pm. We would like you to finish breakfast with the boys, pack school bags and take them to school. They will go to different schools which are both within walking distance from our home. We would like you to pick them up from school or play dates, prepare a healthy tea, oversee homework and then bath them before one parent arrives home. We would also like to have one nights babysitting in the week and one at the weekend; we will give you notice of the nights we need you in advance. We would ask you to keep the house tidy, keep on top of the washing, do some ironing and chores (dry cleaning pick up/drop off and post office as required). We do have a cleaner so the household duties are more about keeping the house tidy - including organising the boys clothes. We would also like you to unpack the weekly shop which is delivered to the house. The accommodation is a self contained studio flat in the basement of our house: fitted kitchen, shower room and studio room. Sky TV with your own box is provided and the house is fitted with fibre speed broadband. We will pay £120 per week pocket money and cover all the household bills. We would like someone who is reliable, hardworking, able to earn the respect of the boys, well organised, sociable, good sense of humour and caring. We live close to the river in hammersmith and close to local amenities - tube (Ravenscourt Park/Hammersmith); shops in Hammersmith/Chiswick; Westfield is around 3 miles away. There is a big park - Ravenscourt Park and you can walk to Barnes/Putney along the river. We would like someone who is able to commit to minimum of 18 months and is serious about their time with our family in London. It is important to have good English as the boys will need help with their homework.
