Warehouse & Product Assembly Operative

We have an open position for a Warehouse & Product Assembly Operative.

The suitable candidate will have experience in working in a warehouse environment and be familiar with mechanical handling, assembly, packing and store room maintenance. The job will include goods-in and out operations, dealing with walk-in customers, day to day work such as assembly and packing of products and if qualified and experienced, in basic repair/service of various trucks, trolleys and lifters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Warehouse, factory, mechanical or similar experience
• Good physical fitness
• Good level of spoken English
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Ability to work in a small team and cooperate with colleagues

Preferred / ideal candidate will also have some or all of the following:

• Mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic systems experience
• Good level of written English
• Clean driving licence
• Computer literacy
• Forklift driving experience
• Welding experience

Working hours: 8.5h per day, Mon-Fri

Goods rate of pay (£26,000-£ 28,000 pa starting salary), overtime, up to 28 days holidays (+ bank holidays), workplace pension. Opportunities for progression in the company.
