ZÓNA A are a Czechoslovakian punk legend. The band formed in 1984 and, according to the communist officials, they were "unsuitable for socialist youth" which resulted in banning Zóna A from making records and playing live. However, 27 years later, even in despite of all the hustle from communists, Zóna A is still alive and rocking. Eversince The Velvet Revolution in 1989, the band recorded 9 studio albums marked by significant Koňýk's vocals supported by Zóna A's sharp and energising punk rock drive.
